Introduction

Conical roller bearing is a type of separable bearing, whose rolling elements are conical rollers and both the inner and outer rings have conical raceways. This design enables tapered roller bearings to withstand both radial and axial loads simultaneously, with high rigidity and load-bearing capacity. The rollers of tapered roller bearings can achieve pure rolling on the raceway, thereby reducing friction and wear, and improving the service life and performance of the bearing.

According to the number of roller rows, tapered roller bearings can be divided into different structural forms such as single row, double row, and four row:

Single row tapered roller bearings: can withstand axial loads in one direction and limit axial displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing seat in one direction. Under pure radial load, additional axial force is generated inside the bearing, which usually requires paired installation to balance the axial force.

Double row tapered roller bearings: can withstand both radial and axial loads in both directions. The clearance has been adjusted before the product leaves the factory and can be directly installed and used without adjusting the clearance.

Four row tapered roller bearings: The performance is basically the same as double row tapered roller bearings, but they have a greater ability to withstand radial loads and are suitable for large heavy-duty equipment.

High load-bearing capacity: Conical roller bearings can withstand both radial and axial combined loads simultaneously, with high load-bearing capacity.

High rigidity: The bearing structure is compact, highly rigid, and resistant to impact and vibration.

High speed: suitable for high-speed rotating situations, able to maintain stable operating performance.

Easy to install and maintain: The detachable design allows for separate installation and removal of the inner and outer rings, making maintenance and replacement easier.

Conical roller bearings are widely used in various industries, including:

Automotive industry: such as transmissions, differentials, wheel hubs, and driveshafts.

Railway transportation: train wheel bearings, transmission boxes, reducers, etc.

Construction machinery: steering systems for equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.

Wind power generation: The main shaft of a wind turbine.

Mining equipment: heavy equipment such as ore crushers and screening machines.

Aerospace: high-precision applications such as aircraft engines, landing gear, and navigation equipment.

Metallurgical equipment: heavy-duty equipment such as rolling mills and continuous casting machines.
